= 4 pages gatherer-stitcher =

A 4 pages gatherer-stitcher allows you to make saddle stitching brochures or openeyes stitching. There is a station by up of the machine.

To add a new gatherer-stitcher, you go to 4 menus:

 * characteristics
 * quantity
 * delivery 

 == Characteristics ==

You go to the technical characteristics of the machine which breaks down into 5 categories.

 === Informations générales ===

Elles  correspondent aux informations administratives: 

 * her name
 * is it active in the calculation?
 * it is contrary to internal or do you use a subcontractor?

 === Open sizes ===

The sections are previously folded and previously trimmed. You may inform the width and height (minimum and maximum) for different use care :

 * portrait binding per 1 or 2 ups
 * landscape binding per 1 or 2 ups.


 === Autres données techniques ===

 * brochure minimum cut off if the machine has a 3 knives in ouput.
 * This machine is it equipped with a suction system?It can not take gripper fold.
 * gripper margin if the machine has not a 3 knives.
 * number of available stations, cover not included (the number of sections that can put on the machine)
 * possibility of limiting the machine to a single run making it impossible to pre-stitching
 * is the machine equiped of cover feeder, wich allows to  feed and fold automatically.
 * if yes, give the maximum grammage for scoring on cover feeder.
 * is the machine able of doing openeye stitching?
 * the machine does it 3 knives in output?
 *  a notion of price: folding cost included in the binding cost. This concept is especially useful for the printers taht are referenced in the stitcher treated and why they do not have a detailed rate of the cost of stitching out folding.

 === Miscellaneous ===

Depending on the different types of finishing and options there are supplements of makeready:

 * supplement makeready cost for cover feeder
 * supplement makeready  cost for 3-knives trimmer
 * supplement makeready cost for openeyes stitching  
 * makeready cost for 2 up binding
 * possibly a free makeready from a number of copies

There are also variable costsOn retrouve également des suppléments sur la base du variable: per 1000 copies:

 * supplement  cost per 1000 if using the cover feeder
 * supplement cost per 1000 if pre-stitching of inside sections

 === Variation in % the price per 1000 ===

It is possible to define variations in the price of 1000 to match the size, dimensions of the presentation and options:

 * A6 size
 * A5 size
 * A3 size
 * landscape
 * 2 up binding
 * openeyes stitching

 == Rates ==

It is possible to define rates:

 * station by station. For example 1 station to 1 station
 * by intervals station. For example a same makeready cost and 1000 runs for 1 to 3 stations.

 == Quantity ==

This screen allows you to make a variation of a standard price per 1000 according to quantities( per steps).

Each rule is applicable individually and the system takes into account the most advantageous.

WARNING: If you set :

< à 2000 runs then variations de -10%

< à 3000 pruns then variation de -5%

In this case, for a quantity of 1000, the system will take a variation - 10%.

The rules are put into competition in their field of validity. If both rules are checked, the most advantageous being chosen.

 == Delivery ==

This pop up allows you to pricing, if the machine is externally (from a subcontractor), the cost of transport return from the printer to the subcontractor.

There are 3 ways to price:

 * with a fixed cost
 * with a proportional cost per kg
 * with a minimum outright cost.
